Experience with La Mirada
I officially began my life in La Mirada in 1981, when I married my soul mate and bought our first home. The entry fee was a $628/mo., mortgage, a 4 AM paper route, a full time job at Ralph's Grocery and weekends trying to kick start my real estate career. If you count my years at BIOLA University as a student. I've been a resident of the city for over 45+ years. FYI: I plan on seeing my last sunset here in La Mirada and not some far away land.
Our city is indeed a garden of prosperity, with good fruit, well managed by a professional staff and lead by experienced season leaders. Therefore, I had no need to leave the city after graduating from BIOLA U. Paradise had been found. What greater joy could we find, if not in helping others attend to the garden? So that's what we did, we planted our Olive Tree on the West side of La Mirada Blvd., and started our lives.
