My second goal is to re-build relationships within our community. Groups and organizations are the honeybees of growth and stability in a city. Our aging and senior leaders in this area have left a vacuum that is in need of a younger members and leaders. We are in need of a new generation of honeybees that can continue the hard work of past and inherit the stable and trusted relationships that have been created by past generations. Last year, the La Mirada Soccer Association season was almost canceled due to the lack of personal and/or poor relationships. Except for the La Mirada Chamber of Commerce, I know of no other community group/organization that is not struggling, to maintain and growing their memberships. I am committed to filling this vacuum with a new generation of La Mirada honeybees.
